
DREW "Cheatcode" WAGNER WI NFF 11 Man Team!
For the third year in a row, a Laser has been selected to the Wisconsin NFF 11-man team! The award recognizes leaders who succeed on the field and in the classroom! Drew "cheatcode" Wagner was named to the 2023 team joining alumni Nolan Schopp (2022) and David Trafton (2021).

Good Luck at the Special Olympics Max!
Max Stritzel, a KMHS 12th grader, along with KM alumni Michael Graef and Max Brim, will compete in the Special Olympics State Basketball game this weekend at UW Oshkosh.

SHREDDING FUNDRAISER!!! The UPS Store in Delafield, along with Wild Birds Unlimited, Albrecht's Sentry, Waukesha State Bank, Sport Clips Delafield and Chick-fil-A, will be hosting a fundraising event in support of the Kettle Moraine High School Booster Club on Saturday, April 27 from 10 AM to 1 PM at Nagawaukee Shopping Center parking lot. Participants may drop off 10 lbs. of shredding at no cost. Each additional pound of shredding may be accepted with a minimum $1.50 per pound suggested donation. We can shred office paper and file folders. We cannot shred cardboard, plastics, hazardous materials, CDs/DVDs, x-rays, common trash, magnetic media, computers & accessories. Please join us for this fun-filled local event!


Great Indoor Classic 8 Conference Track Outcomes!
This weekend the JV and Varsity boys and girls track teams competed in the Indoor Classic 8 Conference Championships. The JV boys finished 6th with 35 points and the JV girls finished 4th with 92 points.
Top JV boys performers were:
Brandon Stuke with a 3rd place finish in the 200m
Tor Plum with a 5th place finish in the 55m
4x160 Relay team with a 3rd place finish (B. Stuke, T. Plum, L. Macier, E. Aschenbrenner)
Top JV Girls performers were:
Anna Hagedorn with a 2nd place finish in the 55m
Sophie Schoen with a 4th place finish in the 55m
4x240 relay team took 2nd place (M. Derrig, A. Theodorakis, G. Gliniecki, N. Bering)
Amelia Lephardt was Conference CHAMP in the 400m
4x160 relay team of Hailey Johnsen, Ava Shaikh, Brielle Gollup, and Sophie Schoen were also Conference Champs!!
Ella Wagner was 3rd in the long jump
Mira Derig was 3rd in the high jump
Varsity Boys finished 4th with 68 points and the Varsity Girls had a top 3 finish with 88 points!! There were many top performances and several school records broken among our Boys and Girls Teams. Here is a rundown of the top performances:
Keegan Lodes led all Lasers with a stunning 4 event performance. She placed 1st in the high jump and 1st in the long jump with a new school record jump of 17’9.5 inches. She also placed 2nd in both the 55m hurdles and the 200 hurdles! That's a total of 36 points scored. That was the most of any boy or girl at the meet!
Noah Hait broke his own school record with a time of 6.58. This was 5th place but now has him ranked in the top 10 in Division 1.
Lola Schwartz placed 2nd in the 800m run
Isaac Kirby was 4th in the mile but had a huge PR of 4:36
Cassity DeChenne placed 3rd in the mile
Ryker Pignotti was Conference Champion in the boys 200m hurdles
Georgia Boland placed 7th in the 200m. The significance of this is with her time of 26.97 which ranks her 2nd all-time in KM history in the indoor 200m.
Teig Kowalski placed 4th in the high jump with a leap of 6-0
Grey Rumhor and Dayne Baker went 2nd and 3rd place in the shot put
Our 4x100m Relay team of Caitlin Blawat, Delany Eldridge, Avery Hudson, and Georgia Boland took 3rd place and in the process set a new indoor school record with a time of 52.48.
The 4x400m relay team of Kennedy Kiesgen, Brynn Lauters, Lola Schwartz, and Georgia Boland took 2nd with a time 4:12. This is yet another one of the fastest 4x4 times in Division 1 during the indoor season!
Congratulations to all of our Lasers on a great indoor season, now onto the outdoor season!



GLOBAL ARTISAN CRAFT FAIR!!! KM Global will be hosting an artisan craft fair at Kettle Moraine High School on Saturday, May 18th! This capstone project is a cornerstone of Global's learning. Students get the opportunity to build a community event to benefit a local organization. 100% of the proceeds from this event (from vendor fees, donations, food truck partnerships, etc.) will be donated to our friends at the Hunger Task Force. The market will start at 9:00am and end at 12:00pm in the KM high school parking lot. Congratulations to Will Stuckey for earning 3rd team Journal Sentinel 2023-24 all-area boys basketball team, and to Will Stuckey (2nd Team) and Roman Thompson (3rd Team) for earning All-County recognition for Basketball from the Waukesha Freeman!

GREAT TRACK MEET!!!
Recently the boys and girls HS Track & Field teams competed at the Nelson Daniels Invite at UW Whitewater. Both teams earned a 2nd place finish out of 24 teams, our highest finish ever at the ND Classic.
While there were many great performances during the day, 3 events highlighted the Lasers success. On the boys side the 4x800 relay had a phenomenal comeback win on the anchor leg run by Ryan Keller. Keller got the baton in 6th place and came roaring back after the first lap to take the lead heading into the home stretch.
On the girls side the 4x200 and 4x400 relays ran into the record books. The 4x200 took second overall but set the indoor school record with a 1:50.28. (Ranked 3rd in the state) In the 4x400 relay the girls crushed the field cruising to victory with a school record time of 4:10.97. This time currently ranks them 2nd in the state!

KMMS AND KMHS JAZZ IN THE KETTLE!! Jazz In the Kettle featured close to a hundred student performers. It was held in the high school auditorium, and showcased KM's strong Jazz program. Performances included the 7th and 8th Grade KMMS Jazz Ensembles, KMHS Jazz Combo, and KMHS Jazz Ensembles I and II. Great work to all of these student performers and instructors!
