HEARTS FOR HOPE!!! Join us for HeARTS for Hope, a Chick-fil-A Leader Academy Impact Project, on Saturday, April 25 from 9:00 a.m. to noon in the KMHS Cafeteria. This event is designed for children ages 4–12 and will feature a variety of Earth Day–themed crafts and activities, including rock painting, paper flower making, bird feeders, bracelet making, and more. The cost is $8 per student, payable at the door (cash and credit cards accepted). Proceeds will support the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin by helping provide art supplies and other wish list items for patients. We hope to see you there.

HOST FAMILIES NEEDED!!! Foreign exchange students need host families for the 26-27 school year. We have two students looking for placement: Nayra, 15, is from Andorra Spain. She enjoys cooking, gymnastics, dance, and would like to be a cheerleader. Paul Antoine, 17, from France likes sports, scouts, football, baseball, camping and hiking. SAVE THE DATE – CLASS OF 2026 GRADUATION MAY 30TH! CONSTRUCTION UPDATE FOR WIS 83!!! The proposed start date is Tuesday March 31, please adjust your travel time to and from school to allow for delays on WIS 83. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) will start construction along 83 from Perkins Road to Glacier Pass, with completion expected by mid-summer. During this time, the highway will remain open, but motorists should plan for long-term single-lane closures, flagging operations, and overnight closures at the WIS 83/US 18 and WIS 83/County E/County DE roundabouts for resurfacing, with signed detours in place. Access to local homes and businesses will be maintained, and any temporary disruptions will be communicated in advance. Project improvements include resurfacing pavement, rehabilitating bridge structures to extend their lifespan, and upgrading pedestrian accommodations for enhanced safety and accessibility.

TRACK & FIELD KICKOFF!!! The Varsity Track & Field team kicked off their Indoor Season on Saturday with so many exciting finishes! The girls team finished 7th out of 23 teams and the boys finished 14th. The day was filled with so many season and personal bests along with 2 new School Records, and 12 new additions to the Kettle Moraine Top 10 All-Time List.

KM NEW HEAD GIRLS VOLLEYBALL COACH!!! Coach Shannon Klink brings a wealth of experience, a passion for student-athlete development, and a proven track record of building strong, competitive programs. Her leadership philosophy and commitment to fostering both individual and team success stood out throughout the interview process. Coach Klink spent seven years coaching at Hartford High School, serving as the head varsity coach there for five years. In addition to her high school experience, she has spent the past eight years coaching club volleyball and currently coaches with Milwaukee Juniors Volleyball Club. “Shannon is an outstanding addition to our coaching staff,” said Athletic Director Ryan Tomczyk. “We are incredibly excited to welcome such an amazing leader to Kettle Moraine. KM NEW HEAD BASEBALL COACH!!! The KM community and athletic department are extremely excited about the energy, enthusiasm, and coaching experience that Coach Matt O'Sullivan brings to our program. “I believe we have found a coach who will build meaningful relationships with our student-athletes, foster a positive and competitive culture, and continue to elevate our program both on and off the field," said Athletic Director, Ryan Tomczyk. "Coach O’Sullivan’s background and passion for the game make him an outstanding fit for KM, and we are thrilled to welcome him to our community." Coach O’Sullivan played baseball at the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater from 2017 to 2021. He previously served as the pitching coach at Kettle Moraine High School from 2022 to 2024. He remains actively involved in the game, currently playing in the Land O’ Lakes Men’s Baseball League.

KM ROBOTICS ON WORLD STAGE!!! Two Kettle Moraine Robotics teams are headed to the world stage following outstanding performances at the Wisconsin State FTC Championships. “Laser Tech” (Team 14631) and “Laser Bots” (Team 20293) have both qualified for the FIRST Championship (Worlds) in Houston, Texas, April 29–May 2, 2026. Laser Tech, an eighth-year team made up of two seniors, three juniors, and one sophomore, delivered a dominant showing—finishing undefeated, ranked #1 out of 32 teams, and recording the highest average score across qualification matches. The team also broke the Wisconsin high score multiple times and posted the highest Finals score in North America, now ranked seventh globally out of more than 8,000 teams. Currently sitting #5 in the world, Laser Tech also earned the Innovate Award and secured its first state title since the 2020–21 season. Laser Bots, a fifth-year team, also turned in an impressive performance, reaching the Finals as Alliance Captain for the first time in program history and earning the Design Award for excellence in industrial design.






REGISTER FOR SUMMER ACADEMY NOW!!! Course registration opens at 8am on Monday March 16th. Students will be able to choose four courses per day (with the exception of Moving on to Kindergarten). To accommodate more families and staffing demands we will again run two separate sessions lasting six weeks total. Session one will run June 15-July 24 (no classes 7/3). Students can attend the full six weeks or one session only if preferred. Session two classes will be a repeat of content and activities from session one, unless noted in the course description. We encourage new students interested in "trying" KM and meeting friends to sign up for Summer Academy. Courses are available to open enrollment students for a fee.
