CLASS OF 2025 GRADUATION!!! Our KMHS Campus (Kettle Moraine High School, the High School of Health Sciences, KM Global, KM Perform, and KM Connect) will be celebrating the achievements of the Class of 2025 with a commencement ceremony on May 31st at 7:30pm on Vock Field at Culver's Stadium. GRADUATION FIREWORKS!!! On May 31st, we will celebrate the Class of 2025 by holding a graduation ceremony for students and their families at Vock Field. This will be followed by a fireworks display at 8:30 pm where we can honor their accomplishments as a community. We hope you enjoy the show and we apologize for any disturbance the noise may cause.

KMEF PROVIDES CAMERA EQUIPMENT FOR FILM-FOCUSED STUDENTS!! KM Perform film students got to open new equipment they will be utilizing for their upcoming Classroom Centerstage project! The students have been leaning on local film-maker, Scott Curty, for the equipment needed to produce student led movie projects like their award-winning short film Doom Scroll. This incredible donation will give them greater flexibility and allow them to produce commercials and podcasts in house for professional clients. f you would like to learn more about the Kettle Moraine Education Foundation (KMEF) visit their website at kmsd.edu/kmef. KMSD FISCAL PLANNING LISTENING SESSIONS!!! We will be discussing the updated scenario plans in greater depth at the April 29th School Board meeting and conducting community listening sessions on May 1st and 8th from 6-8pm and on May 17th from 9-11am to get broader input from our KM Community! GRANT FOR BUTTERFLY GARDEN! Third and Fifth grade students, worked with the Magee PTO, Night Owl Landscaping, Woodridge Landscapes, and Pialas, submitted a grant application to the WLCA (Wisconsin Landscape Contractors Association). WLCA chose Magee Elementary School's Butterfly Garden as their 2025 Service Day Project!! This means that the design created and donated by Pialas will come to fruition. This was aligned with the end of Unit 1 project-based learning opportunity in myView where students were to write persuasive letters to a local leader or organizational leader to enhance a park, playground, or part of their school grounds. Accepted grands include volunteers from WLCA member-companies from across the region donating their time, tools, materials, and talent to create a space where students can learn, grow, and connect with nature. The project will include the construction of an outdoor classroom surrounded by pollinator-friendly plants, stone paths, and countless spaces for students to discover the natural world.

NIGHT IN THE KETTLE GLOBAL CAPSTONE FUNDRAISER!!! MAY 23rd 5:30pm - 9pm at KMHS lower field. We will have Food Trucks, Live Music, Outdoor games, Bounce House, Face Painting, and an Outdoor Movie ( at dusk ). All proceeds and donations will be going to the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.
MILITARY AND ATHLETIC SIGNING DAY!!! Yesterday, KMHS held their Spring Military and Athletic Signing Day for high school seniors who have committed to a program after graduation. Military Signings: Keegan Pautz, Charis Guerra, and Carson Smith signed with the US Air Force. Abigail Moffett signed with the US Army and Lloyd Beres signed with the US Marines. Athletic Signings: Tanner Sindorf signed with Edgewood College for volleyball. Monica Wawrzyn signed with UW Lacrosse for soccer. Roman Thompson signed with UW Eau Claire for basketball. Zach Froemming signed with St. Norbert College for basketball. Britian Farrar signed wtih UW Stevens Point for Lacrosse, and Hannah Aylsworth signed with Point Park University for Lacrosse. DISTRICT BAND FESTIVAL!!! The Kettle Moraine Band Program will be holding their District Band Festival Wednesday, May 7th in the KMHS West Gym. This free concert starts at 7pm and features every Band student in KM! Doors open at 6:30pm.

NEW! KMTA PICKLE BALL ALL- ACCESS YEARLY PASS!!! Cost for the annual pass is $75 for individual and $125 for families (same household). This year the all-access yearly pass will be your ticket to KMTA pickle ball in 2025. The pass will give you opportunities to play KMTA organized pickle ball this spring, summer, and fall AND will allow you and your entire family to use KMTA pickle ball equipment when the courts are available. Registration is online at https://kmsd.revtrak.net/rwcommunityeducation/. KMTA open pickle ball will be organized through the GroupMe App, which you will receive an invitation (in late March/early April) to join after registration. KMTA Adult Open Pickle ball (age 14+) Spring: Monday & Wednesday @ 6pm (when no home boys tennis match). Starting April 21. Summer: Tuesday & Thursday @ 6pm, and M-F mornings @ 6:30/6:45am-8am. Fall: Monday & Wednesday @ 6pm (when no home girls tennis match) Ends on/around 2nd week of October. The pass will also allow you access to lock codes (which we will change every 10-14 days) and allow you to use the equipment with your entire family when the courts are not reserved for other activities. REGISTER FOR SUMMER ACADEMY!!! Students will be able to choose four courses per day (with the exception of Moving on to Kindergarten). To accommodate more families and staffing demands we will again run two separate sessions lasting six weeks total. Session one will run June 16-July 3 and session two will run July 7-July 25. Students can attend the full six weeks or one session only if preferred. Session two classes will be a repeat of content and activities from session one, unless noted in the course description. KM GLOBAL CAPSTONE FUNDRAISER FOR 1HOPE!!! Senior Megan Petersen is raising donations for summer fun toys for children in the 1Hope program as her senior Capstone project. 1HOPE works with the foster families in Kenosha, WI, bringing churches and the community together to ensure that every foster family and foster child has the love and support that they need to flourish through praying and advocating together. With this project, Meghan hopes to provide these families with items that will help them to enjoy a fun summer.
