KMHS student Jayden Hitchcock was awarded Wisconsin Master Angler of the Year after catching an amazing 31 of 35 target fish. The WIFA (Wisconsin Interscholastic Fishing Association) Master Angler competition is open to all high school students in Wisconsin, and involves catching as many species from the list at qualifying sizes as possible. The angler with the most fish on the list is considered the Master Angler of the Year, which is the equivalent of a state championship. Jayden competed as part of the KM Finnatics fishing team.
