We had an excellent turnout last night for the AP Info Night in the Prism Art Center. Dr. Plum and Ms. Kopidlansky shared an informative presentation on how to navigate the AP system, manage coursework, and maximize the benefits, both academically and financially, from this valuable program. Many parents stayed to talk with staff, ask questions, and gain additional insights afterward. AP tests have potentially saved KM 9-12 students $1.5M in tuition, based on last year's test-takers! Advanced Placement programming is facilitated by The College Board, a non-profit organization that helps high school students succeed academically by providing courses with college-level rigor and the opportunity to earn college credits. KM strongly encourages our students to challenge themselves by taking AP courses and currently offers 21 AP courses with more under consideration.
