Alumni Stories

KM Global is proud to tell the stories of our graduates. Check out what our alumni is doing, what they've accomplished and how KM Global prepared them for life after high school!

Paxton-Larson

Paxton Larson (class of 2020) - Sophomore at University of Virginia

- Echols Scholars Program (Honors program at UVA); Global Markets Group - Member (investment organization affiliated with UVA's McIntire School of Commerce); Jefferson Literary and Debate Society - Member; Media Chair for Brown Residential College Governance Board; Voted "Most Artsy" in my residential college.

Pax says:

"KM Global gave my education a purpose.
High school can too easily become a stress-plagued grind towards shallow test scores, an educational race driven by obligation and pressure rather than passion and exploration. I'm beyond grateful that Global gave me more than a "checked box" to pursue and be proud of.
In high school, I actually liked school. And I STILL look through my inquiries."

"Arriving at university, I know what person I want to be, what skills I want to develop, and what my education means to me. I'm not here because it's just "the next step". I'm here to take every advantage of these opportunities. This does not mean I have everything figured out. Rather, Global helped me develop the mindset and the skills to expand my self-exploration, self-development, and self-advocacy."

"In no small part because of Global, I'm excited to continue challenging myself. Not because I feel like I should or have to, but because I genuinely want to. Seriously, a purpose-driven mindset carries weight."
