First Semester Report Card

Dear Parents of 5K - 5th Grade Students,

Your child’s report card for the first semester of the 2018-19 school year is now available in Infinite Campus. The report card includes information on your child’s progress in reading, writing, math, science, social studies, art, music, physical education, work habits and citizenship. Teachers report on your student’s progress according to the descriptors listed below.

Our goal is that students meet proficiency expectations for these standards by the end of the school year; therefore, it is common that students may still be beginning or developing at this time of year. The descriptors below indicate your child’s performance as compared to the end-of-level benchmark.

  • Beginning: Learner is consistently working on standards below grade-level.
  • Developing: Learner demonstrates gaps in consistency or depth of understanding while working to meet grade-level standards by the end-of-year.
  • Proficient: Learner is on-track to meet the grade-level standard by the end-of-year.
  • Secure: Learner is consistently working on standards above grade-level.
