HISTORY has been made! For the first time ever, Kettle Moraine High School has won State for ICE FISHING!

Congratulations to the seniors, Brett Pasdera, Konnor Post, and Josh Klamik, who are going out on top.  Congratulations to our underclassmen, Grant Schwartz, Nate Keller, Riley Pennoyer, Austin Weber, Danny Renk, Jayden Hitchcock, Grayson Gaffney, Bradan Hegemann-Lindau, and Jackson Diehl that worked so hard to bring the trophy home.  The future looks very bright with all of you coming back next year.  Every member should be very proud of the effort you put into the event Saturday.  The weather was uncooperative and the bite was difficult but you persevered to outlast the other teams and take home the title.

To our boat captains, Michelle Sickinger, Jarrad Schwartz, Joe Post, John Huber, and Jamey Hitchcock thanks for the great job you did behind the scenes to ensure a great day.  To our new fishing buddies, Derek Johnson and Joe Hameister that helped the team so much by taking kids out and putting them on fish.  We greatly appreciate your time and generosity to help make this a successful event for the Finnatics.

The Finnatics won this event through the hard work of everyone pulling together and helping each other.  We formulated a plan to maximize the entries we were allowed and it worked to perfection.  We took first place in northern pike, first place in bass, 3rd place in walleye, 8th place in bluegill, 4th place in crappie, and 2nd place in perch.  With a team total of 470.25 inches, we finished 42.25 inches ahead of second place.  Great job guys you are all champions, the proof is in the pictures.
