District Sustainability Study - Summer 2019

  • To help determine next steps for the Kettle Moraine School District, a study group has been formed to investigate the district’s sustainability. The individuals making up this group are residents that represent different areas of our community.

The charge for this group is to identify innovative, feasible and sustainable options for consolidations and/or cost-savings in the Kettle Moraine School District that also preserve the tradition of excellence expected from a Kettle Moraine education.

The group is examining enrollment trends and projections; reviewing space utilization and building capacity at all schools; and developing scenarios that identify financial impacts and other implications of possible school consolidation and/or reconfiguration. The scenarios they develop will include pros and cons and will be presented to the Board of Education for review.
