We are excited to announce that the first day of school for 6th graders and new students to KMMS for the 2018-19 school year will be Tuesday, September 4th. On this day, our 6th graders and new students will have the school to themselves, prior to 7th and 8th graders arriving the next day.

During the 6th Grade and New-to-KMMS First Day on September 4th, students will tour the building, meet their teachers, and participate in the WEB (Where Everyone Belongs) program, which involves orientation and team-building activities led by volunteer 8th grade student leaders.

This new format replaces the need to hold the WEB program in August, which has been done in previous years. We are excited about the new format which allows our 6th grade and new students to have their own special first day of middle school.

Bus routes will run normally on Tuesday, September 4th.
