The KM Budget Advisory Council represents a diverse group of KM Parents, Local Business Owners, Local Government Officials, Citizen/Taxpayers, & Kettle Moraine Alumni. The Council consists of representatives from 7 of the 10 municipalities within the Kettle Moraine Footprint and who provide expertise in a variety of professions.Natalya Morrow, Christine DeMaster, Jen Szerenyi, Scott Kelly, Wayne Dehn, Melissa Smiley, Charlotte Hall, Michael Creed, Heather Renno, Paul Decker, Terri Martin, Heather Price, Jared Koepp, Brenda Vogds, Julie Kreblin, Jon Stafford Ingle, Kaitlin Hosler, Bob Dignan, David Zeier, Jill Huskisson, Kristin McLean, Adam Winiger, Conni Kurth, Kimberly Newhouse, Anthony MilazzoThe council has one/multiple members representing the Town of Delafield, City of Delafield, Village of Dousman, Town of Genesee, Town of Ottawa, Village of Summit, and Village of Wales. We currently do not have a representative from the Town of Sullivan, the Town of Eagle, or the Village of North Prairie.The council we meet once in April and once in October of 2023 to best inform our budgeting/planning process to meet the needs of our Kettle Moraine Community. Following each meeting of the Council, we will synthesize themes from the discussions/work to provide the Board of Education with feedback on how the district currently strives to meet the expectations and needs of our community through allocation of resources.
The Kettle Moraine School District has once again received the ASBO International Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting. The award for 2020-21 represents the 26th consecutive year the district, the only one in Wisconsin, has been honored. Only four percent of school district in the nation have achieved this annual recognition.
The mission of the COE program is to encourage and recognize excellence and transparency in the preparation and issuance of U.S. school district’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR).

KM is also one of four districts in Wisconsin to receive an AA+ rating, which is the highest rating achieved by any district in the state from Standard & Poor’s Global.
