    The KMSD school board is dedicated to governing for student achievement, which it defines as:

    Academic Excellence: Each student will develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to successfully prepare for life, work, and further learning.

    Citizenship:  Each student will be a responsible citizen by being an informed and active member of the student’s local, national, and global community.

    Personal Development:  Each student will demonstrate the attitudes, knowledge, skills, and character to do what is right, balancing individual ambitions with the rights and needs of others in order to achieve his/her highest personal potential.
