Wanda Richardson has been teaching for more than 25 years, specifically in early childhood, preschool, kindergarten and first grade. Wanda enjoys presenting on personalized learning and holds a Master of Creative Arts and Learning. She also loves working on her hobby farm with her two children. When not at school you will find her at the Waukesha County Fair and the Wisconsin State Fair showing animals!
Lisa Welch has been teaching for more than 25 years and is truly focused on making learning fun, engaging and most of all, student driven. Lisa has her National Board Certification for Teaching, her Personalized Learning Endorsement through the Institute at CESA 1, holds a Masters in Creative Arts and Learning, and is a Personalized Learning District Lead Teacher for the School District of Kettle Moraine. In her free time, Lisa enjoys fitness and resale shopping and spending time with her pup, Oz!
Lisa Lenske has been teaching for more than 20 years, mostly in the elementary setting and largely in the Kettle Moraine School District. She uses her sense of humor and fun, upbeat attitude to connect with students and create a community of respectful and caring learners that can collaborate and self-direct their learning to reach their individual goals while immersing themselves in projects and experiences. Outside of school Lisa enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and being outdoors with her best friend Millie (her Bernese Mountain dog).
Jenelle Kletsch has been team teaching with Lisa Lenske for 3 years now, and is excited to continue team teaching at Explore for the first time. Individualized education is one of her passions, so teaching in Explore and upholding the 5 pillars of learning is right up her alley! Jenelle lives with her husband and new baby. She enjoys reading, and being with friends and family.
Mary Mathison taught for five years in the Barrington School District (Barrington, IL) before coming to the Kettle Moraine School District. She has taught 1st, 3rd, and 4th grades. She is excited to be at KM Explore, after spending time researching the unique initiatives in this district! Mary earned her Bachelor's Degree at Saint Olaf College in French and Environmental Studies, and her Master's in Elementary Education at DePaul University. Mary and her husband have three children in school at KM. She loves exploring different areas of Kettle Moraine with her family and their dog, Bucky.
Barb Shaver has been employed with the Kettle Moraine School District for 30 years where she has served as an elementary guidance counselor, and a teacher for every elementary grade level! Barb has also taught as an adjunct professor at Carroll College and has served in the role of building Talent Development Coordinator. Currently, Barb is the Governance Council Chair for KM Global. Barb holds a Bachelor of Science in K-8 Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Masters degree in Counseling. Barb is married and has three children that keep her quite busy. In her spare time she likes to read, spend time with her family, and do long distance running.
