Wisconsin Leadership Seminar

  • Kettle Moraine High School is excited to send one Kettle Moraine School District student to the Wisconsin Leadership Seminar (WILS), which will be held at Carroll University on a date to be determined. This is a 3-day leadership seminar for outstanding sophomores across Wisconsin. (Due to COVID-19, decisions are still being made as to the best way to have a seminar while keeping everyone safe.) Please visit the WILS website for updated information at http://www.wils.us/home

    Criteria:

    • Current 10th grade student
    • Demonstrates strong leadership potential in and out of the classroom
    • Strong academics
    • Involvement in extracurricular activities

The weekend seminar consists of team-building activities, motivational speakers, volunteer service, a talent show, panels of key leaders from various industries, small group discussions, and more.  WILS encourages leadership development through emphasis on personal responsibility, volunteerism, increased awareness of social issues, and open-minded analysis of all sides of an issue when making decisions.

The seminar will be no cost to the student selected to represent Kettle Moraine High School.  Students are responsible for providing their own transportation to the seminar at UW-Whitewater.
