    Becoming a substitute is easy!
    1. Complete an online application with Teachers on Call.

    2. Once you have completed your application, contact the Teachers On Call onboarding team by calling 800.713.4439 (press 2 when prompted). Based on the substitute role you are interested in, Teachers On Call will direct you toward the training options and license options that are most appropriate, as well as guide you on the steps needed to complete any of those requirements. *

    3. Complete any remaining necessary or required steps for employment with Teachers On Call as guided or requested by their onboarding team

    · SPECIAL EDUCATION ASSISTANT: WI Special Education Aide License, other WI teaching or substitute license needed OR willingness to obtain Special Ed Aide License with TOC’s guidance (
