    LYBA Basketball Grades 1-8
Everyone plays. Everyone learns. Everyone has fun. The KM Community Education Laser Youth Basketball program has been a long-standing community basketball program striving to introduce and support basketball skills for any and all children in the Kettle Moraine School District.
1st/2nd Graders:  Our emphasis will be on knowledge and execution of basketball skills, rules, sportsmanship, fair play and attitude. Practices and games will be held Saturday mornings for 90 minutes. Eight-foot baskets will be used. Parent volunteers will serve as coaches and referees - we ask anyone interested to step up and get involved! Coaching assistance and guidance is available from our program directors. Come out and have some fun. Teams will be formed based on the number of registered partipciants. Teams may be co-ed.
3rd-8th Graders:  Everyone Plays. Everyone Learns. Everyone has fun. We offer a competitive program by logging scores during games, tracking league standings, using WIAA officials and awards to the top teams. There is an end of the season tournament. Games are played Saturday mornings December through February with practices held during the week. Teams will be divided by boys and girls using the draft method. There will be no cuts.
