I look forward to working with the parents and students of Wales Elementary and KM Explore! I was the speech pathologist on the Wales Campus from 2012-2015 and I am very excited to return back to the KMSD!
I have been a speech language pathologist for the past 20 years while working in a variety of settings from Birth-to-Three programs, pediatric clinical therapy, and school based therapy. I completed a B.S. in Communication Disorders and a M.S. in Speech Pathology. I hold the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) National Certificate of Clinical Competence.
Through my professional career I have experience helping children communicate who have a variety of speech/language, learning, developmental, and/or genetic disorders. My therapy is provided in a positive and fun learning environment in either a 1:1, small group, or classroom setting. I strongly believe in collaborating with parents and fellow educators to enhance a child’s learning success. I get the greatest enjoyment out of watching a child grow in confidence and knowing they can accomplish any goal.
I love traveling and spending time with my family and friends. My two children keep me busy with their academic and extracurricular activities. I enjoy cooking, baking, digital scrapbooking, hiking, biking, and teaching yoga.
Please feel free to contact me with any feedback, questions, or concerns. I look forward to hearing from you and working together through your child’s elementary school years.
