Since graduating with my Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, I have worked for 28 years exclusively with children ages 2-21, in both public and private/residential schools. In addition to certification from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association, I hold the following licenses:
- Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction
- Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
The best part of my job is seeing my students make progress toward and meet their goals, whether it is mastering the R sound, or using a picture, sign or communication device to make a simple request.
When I am not at work, I enjoy the arts, including acting in local community theater groups and playing the French horn in community bands and orchestras. I also volunteer weekly at a wildlife rehabilitation center, where I have been for over fifteen years.
Please feel free to send an email, call or stop by and see me at Magee. I would love to talk to you or answer any questions you may have about speech.
