    Kay (Aplin) Burke
    Class of 1968

    Currently responsible for physical security at CenterState Bank, N.A., headquartered in Winter Haven, Florida, with 126 branch and non-branch facilities located in Florida, Georgia and Alabama. She began her career as a teller at the former First National Bank in Waukesha, Wisconsin and later gained experience and knowledge in several other areas of the banking industry. After joining the CenterState Bank team in 2000, she served in a variety of roles including Senior Operations Officer, Internal Audit Specialist, Regional Operations Manager and in her current role as V.P. Bank Security Officer for the past eight years. Kay has also served in a variety of community service organizations including National Night Out, Feeding Children Everywhere and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.  





  • Jane (Droegkamp)Lurvey
    Class of 1969

    Jane majored in elementary education at the University of Dubuque in Dubuque, Iowa. She retired in 2014 after 27 years as a paraeducator at Magee Elementary School in Genesee Depot. She is very active in her church, currently serving as a church elder and deacon, serving on numerous committees and is a 25-year member of the hand bell choir. Jane is an avid volunteer, serving the community as Loaves and Fishes Coordinator for Delafield Presbyterian Church and affordable housing coordinator for apartments in Delafield. She also currently serves as Family Promise of Waukesha County Coordinator for her church and as a hospice volunteer at AngelsGrace Hospice.




  • David A. Nelson
    Class of 1973

    Currently serves as Managing Member and President of Healthcare Financial Management, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in healthcare related finance projects and interim financial executive services for Healthcare entities. David received his bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the University of Mississippi-Oxford, and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Minnesota-Minneapolis. A former instructor of Advanced Healthcare Finance at the University of Minnesota and Rush University, David is a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and sits on their National Board of Examiners. He is active in his community, serving as board member and past president of the Northwest Wisconsin American Red Cross Chapter and has been deployed to eight national disasters over the last three years. He coordinates services through the Office of Emergency Management and Social Services Departments of affected counties, along with coordinating Red Cross Services with FEMA, the Veterans Administration and other agencies providing disaster relief services.
