2014 Facilities Referendum
In 2014, KM voters approved a capital referendum that funded facility projects to address deferred capital maintenance (roofs, windows, doors, electrical, plumbing), safety & security, technology infrastructure and collaborative learning spaces. That referendum approved KM borrowing $49.6 million for facility projects only. That money wasn’t, and can not be used for operations.
Here are some videos to highlight what the 2014 Facilities & Technology referendum accomplished. We thank the community for your support!
Note: The 2014 facilities referendum did not address all needs identified in the Long-term Facility Master Plan.
