Laser Legacy Society: Planned Giving
“Planned giving” describes the process of planning a significant charitable gift during lifetime, to be allocated at a future date. Commonly donated through a will, trust or insurance policy designation, planned gifts are usually a part of the estate planning process and are often granted once the donor has passed away. There are many knowledgeable local advisors who can explain these common gift vehicles to you:
- Bequests, or a codicil, through your will
- Life insurance cash value
- Life insurance death benefit
- Charitable remainder trusts
- Charitable lead trusts
When making a planned charitable gift to KMEF, please contact the Executive Director to notify us of your planned giving so we may properly acknowledge your generosity. For notifications and more information, contact Tara Mathison at 262-968-6300 x5308 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
