Learn more about four-year-old kindergarten in the Kettle Moraine School District! Kettle Moraine’s 4K program strives to build a strong foundation for lifelong learning! Providing this programming to our community is an integral way to connect our youngest learners and families to our school district and prepare them for Kindergarten. To find the right option for your family and learn more about each of our elementary sites and wrap-around care partners, contact 4K Director, Justin Nies, at niesjustin@kmsd.edu. We have more information about learning targets in KM4K and how this experience prepares children for school, helps them develop social skills, and provides them with lots of exercise and engagement in and earlier issue of the Communicator!!!

Children who are four years old on or before September 1 may attend 4K beginning in the fall in the Kettle Moraine School District.  Residents of the district will complete the online application beginning on January 23. You will be asked to rank your top three preferences of site choice. 

Children who are five years old on or before September 1 may attend 5K beginning in the fall in the Kettle Moraine School District. Children who were enrolled in a KM 4K program are AUTOMATICALLY enrolled in KM 5K. KM's 5K program is held daily from 8:30 a.m. - 3:35 p.m. (except Thursdays with an Early Release at 3:05 p.m.) at every elementary school in the district. Typically, your address will determine which school your child will attend.
